Yakima, Washington Koi Pond This was an existing pond with a EPDM liner in it.
They wanted to make the Koi pond larger and have Polyurea sprayed in it for longevity.
The EPDM liner was left under the large rock at the begining of the waterfall area.
We married the EPDM liner to the new Polyurea liner.
Also sprayed in steps just in case anybody fell in and needed to get out.
The Koi pond consists of 1 skimmer, 7 TPR's and 2 bottom drains.
This pond is in Yakima and holds 10,000 gallons |

Backyard Koi Pond
This pond is approx 13,000 gallons. It has two bottom drains
flowing to a wave 36 settlement tank with Stainless steel
micro-screen for pre-filtration. Two gravity flow skimmers and
one mid-water drain flow to a Wave 24 tank with a 24" static
pre-filter. The bottom drain circuit pumps to a 220 gallon
Air-lift dilution reactor and the skimmer/mid-water circuit
pumps through a UV light and on to a 220 gallon Static
bio-filter for fines control. The Air-lift dilution reactor
powers the waterfall and the Static bio-filter flows to 8
tangential pond returns as current jets. Pond design and
installation by Kent Wallace of Living Water Solutions. |

Natural Swimming Pond
The first natural swimming pond was lined with bentonite clay.
The bentonite clay was not containing water. Plantswoman Design
came in and redesigned the natural swimming pond. Their are no
chemicals being used, it will be filtered thru a water garden.
The swimming area is separated from a zone planted with aquatic
vegetation, which acts as a biological filter. This natural
swimming pond contains over 85,900 gallons of water and the size
is 5,850 sq ft. |
